Syra Health is Partnering with Indiana FSSA to Train Thousands of Home and Community Support Professionals
Program Overview
Home and Community Support Professionals (HCSPs) are trained professionals who provide person-centered support to individuals in home and community-based settings.
What is HCSP Training?
The HCSP training equips professionals to support older adults and individuals with disabilities across a range of home and community-based settings that may include but isn’t limited to facilitating personal and household daily living activities and accompaniment, as well as support to achieve individuals identified goals, such as independence and community integration.
Who Can Be Trained and Certified?
HCSPs required to complete this training and receive their HCSP certification are providing the applicable services under the following two HCBS waivers: Family Supports (FS) and Community Integration and Habilitation (CIH). All other support professionals are welcome to participate in this training and earn certification but are not required to at this time and would be at their own expense.
