Therapy Interventions

A therapeutic intervention is an attempt to assist someone who is in need but refuses treatment or is otherwise unable to help themselves. In some circumstances, an intervention takes the form of a confrontational meeting between the individual engaging in self-destructive behavior and concerned friends or family members. Other circumstances, such as concerned family members wanting to assist an individual unable to make decisions for themselves, may not be confrontational. An intervention can occur with or without the supervision of a mental health professional, such as an interventionist.

Syra Health intervention services will assist in developing a safe, effective, and suitable intervention approach, assisting friends and family members in expressing themselves constructively, and preparing them for potential outcomes and implications.
